I am delighted you are visiting my on line gallery. I have selected a few pieces for you to view that will show you some of my work over the past decade. The work I am currently doing is influenced by my visits to the west of Ireland. I have also been working in watercolor on rice paper producing paintings in an oriental style. RECENT NEWS

I was in Ireland living in Cashel County Galway and painted some landscapes which you will see in my gallery. I also visited The Netherlands where I painted a few images of artist's studios. Rembrandt being the most notable. Also, I am returning to The Tyrone Guthrie Centre at Annamakerrig in the Fall 2008 where I will work on a body of work close to my heart. I have started work on theatrical paintings which will be available at the end of 2008. This is exciting for me as it is something that is and was a large part of my life for many years - The Theatre!

I did the set design backcloth for both "The Hobbit - The Musical" as well as a new play titled "So Long Sleeping Beauty". I enjoy this work and do it occasionally. It brings me back to my theatrical roots.

Last winter I was artist in resident at Kent State University in the Printmaking Shop. This gave me the opportunity to return to Printmaking. I have also joined a printer's cooperative in Massachusetts where I am working on etchings and intaglio prints. I have a few in my web gallery.

OLD NEWS

Last year in 2007, I had a solo exhibition at my Alma Mater Smith College. It was an exhibition very personal and about my time at Smith as a student. Also, I was invited to show my work at Gallery 147 in Windsor Vermont Fall and Winter 2007. I am currently representing myself through Olwen O'Herlihy Dowling Fine Art.
